Lorazepam, is a
benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety disorders.
Lorazepam is a drug with huge
potential for misuse. Two types of
drug misuse can occur either

medical abuse. Patients with past or
present substance abuse disorders are more likely to abuse
medications such as Lorazepam.
In recent U.S. studies,
sedative-hypnotics, were found to be the most
abused
pharmaceuticals, lorazepam being the third most commonly
