Darvocet Addiction Treatment
 Darvocet and
Darvon are narcotic
analgesics used to manage mild or moderate pain. Darvocet contains
Dextropropoxyphene and acetaminophen. Darvon
contains Dextropropoxyphene and aspirin.
Dextropropoxyphene is very similar to Methadone. Not
unlike other narcotics, use of Dextropropoxyphene can
produce psychological and
physical addictions within the user.
Because Darvocet is so weak in comparison to other
opioids, it is often very difficult for family and friends to
recognize the addiction. In fact, Dextropropoxyphene is
so much weaker in comparison, that it has been used to treat
withdrawal symptons for other stronger opioids.
