Ritalin Addiction Treatment
Ritalin is a Central Nervous System
Stimulant. It is used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder and
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. It contains Methylphenidate,
the most commonly prescribed psycho-stimulant and is indicated
in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and
narcolepsy, although off-label uses include
treating lethargy,
depression, neural insult and obesity.
Methylphenidate is generally
regarded as the closest pharmaceutical to cocaine, and is even
used to treat withdrawal symptoms for recovery cocaine
addicts.
